So earlier i had the first lecture on the Site Specific project, we shall be being taught by Conal and its all written in the brief we were given out. Im going in and out of liking this project already, pressure is on even though we have the rest of the semester on this. It feels too long to have on one project, and my organisational skills will have to be bucked up sharply. The balance between Third year work and this project, i have to learn to say no and restrict myself. its going to be tough, and im sort of finding it hard going to get cracking on my sketch book documentation, i dont know why, im confused slightly, but im going to get going on it asap i hope, i need to force myself to hudle in my library corner and stay there till satified, also PHOTOS!
PHOTOS! i need those darn cheeky third years to give me back my photos! there are certain photos i dont have in my possesion that i need to add to my sketch book, not just for my work but for refference in the future.
overal it was an over whelming introduction, im scared but ive come up with a few ideas that i could potentially explore and i do want this to be successful, im sure ill warm to it more when it comes up next week :)
- Co-ordinate : i think it could be very interesting to look at the co-ordinates of the place, see the numbers and their significance, base the piece on that or even manipulate the co-ordinates to find another place that has the same numbers, of significance and represent that.
- Flas mob! such fun and an interesting idea of being emersed in a world that on lookers are only walking past.
